Questions from a colored person

I wish I had blonde hair,
Blue eyes,
Pink lips,
Hourglass body,
Clear face,
White skin,
Tanned summer body.
But instead.
Black greasy hair,
Oily pimple face
Dark skin with dark circles,
Round body,
No tan because of my colour,
Brown lips,
And haunting black eyes.
I wish white supremacy never existed.
So we all felt sane in our bodies. But here I am.
Thinking I'm inferior because of my skin tone.
After years and years of revolution,
White people still stare at me like I'm alien.
Is it because my body shape is different?
Or maybe because I'm darker?
Or I don't have those beautiful green marble eyes?
Probably because I wear the hijab?
Maybe to them I seem oppressed,
or a threat.
But I'm just a normal teenager like any other.
A normal teenage girl.
With hopes and dreams of being something someday.
But being that something won't come easy.
So I still ponder every now and then,
Why does racism still exist?
Why do I still feel inferior? Why doI still get stared at?
Like I'm an alien.
Maybe someone out there can answer this for me
